The guided tour of St. Peter's Basilica offers pilgrims and visitors the opportunity to admire one of the most important places in Christianity, the center of the liturgical and spiritual life of the universal Church.

To ensure a proper welcome and an orderly flow of visits, access is organized according to a schedule that takes into account liturgical celebrations as well as the requirements for preservation and dignity of the holy place.

The visits are conducted by specialized and authorized guides and take place in groups of about 20 participants, divided by language. The duration of the visit is one hour.

It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing for the holy place.

Please note that, on the occasion of extraordinary events, the Visits Office reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the visit.
